Product information
‘Arthur Bell’ is one of the great yellow floribunda roses, raised by McGredy in Northern Ireland in 1965. Clusters of large semi-double clear bright yellow flowers open with a proper sweet scent, gradually fading to primrose as they age, held on strong upright stems.
Reliable repeat bloomer from early summer through to the first frosts. Disease-resistant foliage on a bushy upright plant to around 1m tall and wide. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Plant in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Feed in spring, mulch, deadhead through summer, and prune in late winter to around a third of height.
A firm favourite for a cottage-garden border, a rose bed, or a formal scheme where fragrance matters.
