Frequently asked questions
How should I care for my plant after delivery?
Unpack your plant immediately and water it well. If you can’t plant straight away, keep the roots moist and store in a cool, sheltered spot. Plant as soon as possible, water regularly for the first year
Will my plant look exactly like the photo?
Plants are living things, so each one is unique. The photos show a representative example. We hand-select healthy plants that match the size and description on the product page. Expect natural variation in shape and form.
What if my plant arrives damaged
It rarely happens, but if your plant arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with a photo. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund, no fuss. We want you to be happy with every plant.
When is the best time to plant?
Bare root plants should be planted between November and March while dormant. Container-grown plants can be planted year-round, though autumn and spring are ideal. Each plant comes with specific planting advice.
What's the difference between bare root and container grown?
Bare root plants are grown in the ground and lifted without soil during the dormant season. They’re excellent value and establish quickly. Container-grown plants come in pots with soil, can be planted year-round, and are ready to go straight in the ground.
