Gazania sunstopper yellow

The Sunstopper series was bred for one thing: flowers that stay open even when the light dips. Most gazanias close up by late afternoon, these keep going, which gives you a lot more to look at through the day.

This one carries big, bright yellow daisy flowers over a neat mound of silvery-green foliage. Expect it to reach around 20 to 25cm tall and a bit wider, flowering right through summer into early autumn.

Plant in full sun in free-draining soil. Gazanias hate sitting wet, so sharp drainage is essential, and they’ll reward you with flowers through the hottest part of the year. Deadhead to keep new buds coming.

Grown right here on the nursery. Brilliant for pots by a sunny wall, the front of a gravel bed, or a hot south-facing border.
