Cytisus ‘Apricot Gem’

This cultivar of broom brings a soft, warm tone to the late spring garden. The apricot-yellow flowers appear in profusion along slender stems, creating a cheerful display that attracts pollinators.

‘Apricot Gem’ is a dwarf to compact shrub, typically reaching 0.6 to 1 metre in height and spread. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil, thriving in poor to moderate fertility. Brooms are naturally drought-tolerant once established and dislike waterlogging.
