Product information
‘Sunshine’ is a single-flowered dahlia that earns the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Cheerful golden-yellow petals with a striking crimson-red eye and prominent golden centre, flowering massively from July right through to the first frosts.
Compact for a dahlia, reaching around 45 to 60cm, which makes it a good choice for the front or middle of a border, bedding schemes, or larger containers.
Plant in full sun in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Stake loosely if needed. Lift tubers in autumn after the first frost blackens the foliage, unless your garden stays reliably mild over winter.
