Gazania sunstopper orange

The Sunstopper series keeps its flowers open even as the light fades, which is a real bonus for a gazania. This one throws out big, vivid orange daisies over a compact mound of silvery-green foliage.

It grows to around 20 to 25cm tall and a bit wider, flowering through summer into early autumn.

Plant in full sun in sharp, free-draining soil. They hate sitting wet so a pot or a gravel bed suits them perfectly. Deadhead regularly to encourage fresh buds.

A proper sun-lover, best against a warm wall, in terracotta pots, or edging a hot dry border.
