Product information

A lovely, clean-looking lily we’ve brought in for its simple elegance. The flowers are a creamy, ivory-white with a soft yellow throat and some subtle speckling. Unlike some of our more powerfully scented lilies, this Asiatic variety has very little fragrance, which some of our customers prefer. It’s a compact grower, making it a reliable choice for containers.

This is a shorter lily, reaching about 45 to 50cm in height. It has sturdy, upright stems with glossy, dark green leaves that provide a handsome backdrop to the pale flowers. For the best results, plant the bulbs in well-drained, fertile soil in a spot that gets full sun or just a little partial shade. They don’t like to sit in wet soil, so good drainage is key.

Once the flowers have faded, it’s best to cut the spent blooms off to direct energy back to the bulb for next year’s display. Allow the stems and leaves to die back naturally in the autumn before cutting them down to the ground. It’s a great choice for adding a touch of brightness to mixed borders and is especially good in pots near a patio or seating area.
