Product information
‘Evereste’ is one of the best small-garden crabapples, with masses of pink buds opening to pure white flowers in late spring, followed by heavy crops of orange-red fruits that hang on the tree from autumn well into winter. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Forms a small, rounded tree to around 6 to 7m tall with a compact conical habit. Yellow autumn colour sets off the fruits beautifully. Good pollinator for other apples.
Plant in full sun in any reasonable well-drained soil. Tough and disease-resistant. Minimal pruning.
A firm favourite for a small front garden, a lawn centrepiece, or as part of a mixed boundary planting.
