Product information

We think this is one of the tastiest tomatoes you can grow. ‘Sungold’ produces long, trailing trusses packed with exceptionally sweet, golden-orange cherry fruits with a tangy, almost tropical flavour. It’s an early and reliable cropper, often fruiting well into the autumn, especially if grown under glass.

This is an indeterminate (vine) tomato, so it keeps growing and producing fruit all season long. It’s a vigorous grower, reaching up to 2 metres in height. For the best results, plant it in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. It thrives in a greenhouse, a large container on the patio, or a sheltered, sunny spot in the garden.

Support the main stem with a cane or string as it grows. Pinch out the side-shoots that appear between the stem and leaves to direct the plant’s energy into making fruit. Keep the soil consistently moist and feed weekly with a high-potash fertiliser once the first flowers appear.
