Product information
‘Totally Tangerine’ has been a hit since it won Chelsea Plant of the Year in 2010. Soft peachy-orange single flowers dance on tall wiry stems above a tidy mound of semi-evergreen lobed foliage, from late spring right through to autumn.
Plants reach around 70 to 90cm in flower and form a vigorous clump. Because this one is sterile, it puts its energy into flowering rather than setting seed, so the flowering run is exceptionally long. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Plant in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Deadhead regularly to keep the flowers coming. Divide clumps every few years to keep plants vigorous.
A firm favourite for a soft-coloured border, weaved through grasses and perennials, or as a tall front-of-border accent.
