Product information
‘Skyline’ is a thornless honey locust bred for a neat, upright, pyramidal form and reliable autumn colour. The fine, fern-like compound leaves give a light, airy shade through summer, and turn rich golden-yellow in autumn.
Moderate to fast growth, reaching 12 to 17 metres over 20 to 25 years. Crown is light to moderate in density, so you still get dappled light underneath — good for underplanting.
Full sun in well-drained soil. Tolerant of urban pollution, wind, and drier soils. A modern street and amenity tree, also good as a lawn specimen where you want height without heavy shade.
