Product information
This is a brilliant breakthrough in Armeria breeding, giving us frost-to-frost flowering here on our Thurning ground. The plant sends up masses of globe-shaped white flowers on sturdy stems, attracting plenty of bees and butterflies. The flowers are also excellent for cutting.
It forms a dense, mounded clump of evergreen, grass-like leaves that stays low to the ground. Expect it to reach about 30cm in height and spread. It prefers a spot in full sun and needs well-drained soil; it will not tolerate any standing water. It’s a hardy and low-maintenance plant, and is even tolerant of salty coastal gardens.
To get the best performance, just remove the old, spent flowers about once a month to encourage more to come. It’s a great choice for rock gardens, filling in gaps in borders, or for container planting where it mixes well with other perennials.
