‘Summer Snowdrift’ is a hybrid candytuft that flowers when most other Iberis have stopped. Tidy evergreen foliage forms a mounded cushion, topped with sheets of pure white flowers from early summer through autumn.
It reaches around 25 to 30cm tall and spreads 35 to 40cm. The long flowering window makes it stand out compared to the spring-flowering ‘Snowflake’ and similar varieties.
Full sun and well-drained soil. Very easy. A light trim after the first big flush helps keep the plant dense and flowering hard into autumn.
