Product information
‘Real Snowball’ is a fully double form of the classic shasta daisy. Pure white flowers are packed with petals, giving a fluffy pompom effect, held on strong upright stems above glossy dark green foliage.
Plants reach around 60 to 75cm in flower, with a good clump-forming habit. Flowering runs from early summer into autumn if you keep deadheading, and the double form stands up to rain and wind much better than single daisies.
Plant in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong the display. Divide clumps every two or three years to keep plants vigorous.
A cracking plant for a sunny border, a cut-flower patch, or a cottage-garden scheme.
