Product information
‘Santos Purple’ is a vigorous, low-growing verbena with a long, long flowering season. Clusters of vivid purple flowers with a touch of lavender sit at the ends of the stems from early summer all the way through to the first frosts.
It reaches around 30 to 45cm and spreads wider, forming a dense, mounding mat. The foliage is narrow and dark green, lightly serrated.
Plant in full sun, in any well-drained soil. Drought-tolerant once established. Good at the front of a hot, sunny border, or tumbling from a raised bed or large pot.
