Iberis sempervirens ‘Whiteout’

‘Whiteout’ is a compact form of perennial candytuft, carrying dense clusters of pure white flowers in spring and early summer that absolutely smother the plant. Glossy dark green narrow evergreen leaves form a tidy low mound all year round.

Plants stay small, around 20 to 25cm tall and 30 to 40cm wide, spreading slowly to fill gaps at the front of a border.

Plant in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun. Shear back lightly after main flowering to keep plants tight and encourage a second flush. Tough, drought-tolerant and generally trouble-free.

A firm favourite for rockeries, wall tops, path edging, gravel gardens, and the front row of a sunny border.
