‘Mystic Spires Blue’ is a compact, bushy salvia with tall spikes packed with deep blue flowers set in violet calyxes. Flowering runs from summer right through to first frost.
It reaches around 60 to 75cm, naturally well branched and upright, so you don’t need to stake it. The foliage is fresh green and slightly aromatic.
Full sun and moist but well-drained soil. In cold parts of the UK it’s best treated as a half-hardy perennial or bedding plant. Deadhead regularly to keep the spikes coming.
