Product information
Caryopteris ‘Sapphire Dream’ brings rich blue flowers in tight clusters. They appear reliably from late summer into autumn. Silvery leaves add contrast all season. Bees love the nectar-rich blooms in our Thurning borders.
This compact shrub grows to 0.8m tall and wide. It forms a rounded mound. Prefers well-drained soil. Full sun brings the best flower colour. Tolerates poor soils once established.
Prune hard in spring to keep tidy. Cut back to old wood. Drought tolerant after the first year. Fits front of borders or containers. Pairs well with late perennials in sunny spots.
