Spiraea japonica ‘Dark Magic’ stands out with its near-black young leaves that mature to rich bronze-purple. The foliage holds colour through summer. Small pink flowerheads add interest from June onwards.
Grows to 0.6m tall and wide with a bushy habit. Prefers moist but well-drained soil. Thrives in full sun to partial shade. From our Thurning ground, it settles quickly into gardens near Peterborough.
