Phormium ‘Cream Delight’ catches the eye with its bold, arching foliage. The evergreen leaves feature a central band of deep green margined by wide creamy yellow edges. This variegation holds through the seasons. It adds structure without flowers.
Grows to 1m tall and wide with an upright clump-forming habit. Prefers fertile, well-drained soil. Thrives in full sun. Tolerates coastal conditions and some drought once established. We’ve grown this reliably on our Thurning grounds.
Protect from hard winter frosts in colder spots. Mulch in autumn. Fits modern borders, large containers or as a focal point in gravel gardens. Pairs well with grasses or silver foliage plants.
