Escallonia laevis ‘Pink Elle’ brings clusters of soft pink flowers from midsummer. They sit above glossy green leaves. This compact form holds its shape neatly at our nursery near Peterborough.
Grows to 1m tall and wide. Forms a rounded bush. Likes fertile, well-drained soil. Best in full sun to partial shade. Tolerates coastal winds.
Prune lightly after flowering to keep it bushy. Suits mixed borders or low hedges. Good in pots on a sunny patio. We’ve grown this reliably in our Thurning ground.
