Product information
‘Rapido Blue’ is the blue-flowered sister in the Rapido series, a compact early-flowering dwarf bellflower with masses of upward-facing cup-shaped flowers in a rich deep blue-violet over neat mounds of fresh green toothed leaves.
Plants stay small at around 15 to 20cm tall and 25 to 30cm wide. Flowering runs from early summer into autumn with regular deadheading.
Plant in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Deadhead to prolong the display. Short-lived perennial, often self-seeds gently to keep plants coming.
A firm favourite for rockeries, path edges, container displays, and cottage garden front-of-border planting.
