Phormium ‘Pink Stripe’ stands out with its architectural foliage. The long, upright leaves feature creamy pink stripes along the edges and centre. This variegated pattern adds texture to any planting. It holds its colour through seasons at our Thurning nursery.
It grows to 1.2 metres tall and wide. The habit is clump-forming and upright. It thrives in fertile, well-drained soil. Full sun brings out the best leaf colour. Shelter from cold winds protects it in our UK climate.
Divide clumps every few years to refresh. It suits modern borders, large containers or coastal gardens. Pair with grasses or agaves for contrast. We’ve grown this reliably on our Barnwell Road site.
