Product information
Convolvulus cneorum is prized for its fine, silvery-grey leaves that catch the light beautifully. From late spring through summer, it produces delicate pale pink flowers with white centres, opening in succession over many weeks. The plant has an airy, graceful habit that works well in contemporary planting schemes.
It reaches around 60cm tall and spreads to a similar width, forming a compact mound. It needs full sun and well-drained soil; heavy clay or waterlogged ground will cause it to struggle. In the UK, it’s best grown in a pot so you can move it under cover during winter, or planted in a sheltered, south-facing spot in milder regions.
Water sparingly once established and avoid overfeeding, which encourages soft growth. Deadhead spent flowers to keep it flowering longer. It’s ideal for Mediterranean-style borders, gravel gardens, and containers on a sunny patio. In colder areas, treat it as a tender perennial and bring pots indoors over winter.
