Product information
Abelia x grandiflora ‘Jelly Beans’ catches the eye with its tidy habit and long flowering season. Small, tubular flowers open white with pink tips. They cluster along the stems from midsummer right into autumn. Butterflies visit regularly in our Thurning nursery borders.
This dwarf shrub grows to 0.6m tall by 0.9m wide. It forms a rounded, bushy shape with minimal effort. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Full sun brings the best flowers, though it copes with partial shade.
Prune lightly after flowering to keep shape. Mulch in spring for moisture. It fits small gardens, front borders or containers. Hardy to -15°C, it holds evergreen foliage through mild winters.
