Product information
‘Arctic Fox Rose’ is a hybrid foxglove that behaves as a true perennial, unlike the biennial common foxglove. Sturdy flower spikes are packed with large rose-pink tubular bells, each with an apricot-speckled throat, in late spring and early summer.
It reaches around 45 to 60cm, holding itself up without staking. The flowers are a magnet for bees and the occasional hummingbird moth.
Full sun or partial shade, moist but well-drained soil. Deadhead after the first flush to encourage a second round. Worth knowing: like all foxgloves, all parts are toxic if eaten, so keep it away from children and curious pets.
