Product information

We’ve kept this one on for years, and for good reason. ‘Rose Marvel’ is notable for its chunky flower spikes, packed with deep rose-pink flowers that really draw the eye. The display begins in late spring and, with a little encouragement, will continue right into autumn, attracting plenty of bees and butterflies along the way.

This is a compact and well-behaved plant, forming a neat clump of aromatic, grey-green leaves that reaches about 30cm in height and spread. It’s a real sun-lover, happiest in a spot with full sun and well-drained soil. It doesn’t appreciate sitting in wet ground over winter, so good drainage is key, especially on our heavy clay soil here at the nursery.

To get the best from it, we recommend snipping off the flower spikes as they begin to fade. This simple deadheading often encourages a second flush of flowers, keeping the colour going for months. It’s a superb choice for the front of a border, mass plantings, or for adding a splash of long-lasting colour to a container.
