Product information

‘Dalmatian Purple’ is a compact foxglove that flowers in its first year. Upright spikes of outward-facing lilac-purple tubular flowers, each with maroon spots in the throat, rise from a low rosette of downy green leaves.

It reaches around 50cm, sitting lower than the classic tall foxglove. Part of the Dalmatian series, bred for early, uniform flowering and a shorter habit.

Full sun or partial shade, moist but well-drained soil. A magnet for bees. As with all foxgloves, all parts are toxic if eaten — keep away from children and pets.
