Erigeron glaucus ‘Sea Breeze Mauve’

‘Sea Breeze Mauve’ is a soft-coloured selection of beach aster, with masses of small mauve daisy-like flowers with yellow eyes covering the plant from late spring through summer. Fleshy grey-green semi-evergreen leaves form a dense mat just below the flowers.

Plants stay low, around 20 to 25cm tall and spreading slowly to around 40cm wide. Ideal for trailing over low walls, carpeting rockeries, or filling gaps between paving.

Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Brilliantly tough in coastal sites, salty winds, and dry sunny conditions. Trim back after main flush to encourage a second wave.

A firm favourite for coastal gardens, gravel beds, dry stone walls, and sunny border edges.
