Euonymus fortunei ‘Emerald ‘n’ Gold’ catches the eye with its striking variegated foliage. The green leaves have wide golden margins that light up shady spots. New growth emerges brighter, holding colour through seasons at our Thurning nursery.
It grows to 1m tall and spreads to 1-2m wide as a mound or climber. Prefers fertile, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Tolerates most conditions, including chalky soils.
Trim in spring to keep shape. Suits ground cover under trees, front of borders or containers. Reliable performer here in Peterborough clay.
