Product information
‘Azure Rush’ is a compact natural mutation of the much-loved ‘Rozanne’, discovered in Germany in 2007. Large light lavender-blue flowers with white centres and fine darker veining bloom in succession over deeply divided green foliage, from late spring right through to first frost.
The plant is a tidier, shorter version of its parent, reaching around 45 to 50cm tall and 60 to 70cm wide, which makes it a much better fit for a pot or a smaller border.
Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Fully hardy and very low-maintenance, shearing back mid-season is not needed since ‘Azure Rush’ doesn’t flop like some cranesbills.
A firm favourite for pots, front-of-border planting, and for weaving through roses or shrubs for months of soft colour.
