Product information
‘Mrs J. Bradshaw’ has been in gardens for a reason. Those rich scarlet, semi-double flowers sit on wiry stems above a neat rosette of dark green, hairy leaves. It’s an old favourite, and it’s kept its AGM from the RHS for a long time.
A clump-forming herbaceous perennial, it tops out around 50cm. Plant it in full sun in any decent soil that doesn’t dry out or sit soggy. It’ll settle in within 2 to 5 years.
Deadhead as the flowers fade to keep more coming, and cut back old stems after the main flush. Lovely at the front of a border or in a cottage-garden scheme.
