Geranium × cantabrigiense ‘Biokovo’

‘Biokovo’ is a semi-evergreen mat-forming geranium with soft, almost-white flowers — very pale pink with contrasting deep pink stamens — in early summer. The 2.5cm blooms sit above a low carpet of aromatic, lobed leaves.

It reaches around 20cm tall with a wider spread, making it a reliable groundcover for the front of a border or under shrubs. Was named Perennial Plant of the Year by the Perennial Plant Association in 2015.

Full sun or partial shade, any reasonable well-drained soil. Low maintenance. Leaves take on lovely red tints through autumn and winter.
