‘Helena Gold’ is part of the Helena series, bred to flower in the first year from seed. The yellow daisy-like blooms have a warm central boss of gold and orange stamens, and they keep coming well into autumn.
Clump-forming and upright, it reaches around 60 to 90cm. Plant in full sun in any fertile, moist but well-drained soil. The flowers are loved by bees and late-season butterflies.
Deadhead to prolong flowering. Good for borders, wildlife plantings, or a prairie-style scheme with grasses and rudbeckias.
