Product information

Hypericum ‘Tricolor’ catches the eye with its variegated foliage. Each leaf shows green in the centre, creamy-white edges and pink flushes, especially on new growth. From midsummer, clusters of bright golden-yellow flowers open wide. They draw pollinators to the garden.

This low shrub grows to 0.6m tall and wide. It forms a neat, rounded mound. Plant in any well-drained soil. Full sun brings out the best leaf colours, but it copes in partial shade. We’ve grown this reliably on our Thurning grounds for years.

Trim lightly after flowering to keep shape. It suits front borders, patio pots or as groundcover. Drought tolerant once established. Pair with heucheras for leaf contrast.
