Salvia ‘Love and Wishes’

‘Love and Wishes’ is an Australian-raised salvia that earns its place for sheer flower power. Bold reddish-purple blooms sit in dark burgundy calyxes on robust upright stems, flowering from early summer right through to late autumn.

It reaches around 70 to 80cm, forming an upright, well-branched plant with small aromatic mid- to deep-green leaves.

Full sun and moist but well-drained soil. It’s borderline hardy in the UK (H3), so a sheltered spot or a container that can be moved undercover in the coldest weather suits it best. A pollinator favourite.
