Salvia salgoon ‘Garda’

‘Lake Garda’ is part of the Salgoon series, bred for neat habit and non-stop flowering. The tubular cherry-pink flowers rise on upright stems over a tidy, bushy clump, and they’re packed with nectar.

It tops out around 40 to 50cm, so it holds its own at the front of a sunny border or in a patio pot without taking over. Plant it in full sun in any decent, well-drained soil.

Cut back spent spikes to keep the blooms coming. Lovely with grasses, or in a pollinator border alongside lavender and nepeta.
