Product information
We’ve been really impressed with the ‘Dreameria’ series in our perennial tunnels, and ‘Sweet Dreams’ is a lovely soft-pink addition. It flowers for an exceptionally long time, starting in late spring and carrying on right through summer. The globe-shaped flower heads are held on strong, upright stems, making them good for cutting. It’s an evergreen, so the tidy mounds of foliage provide interest all year round.
This is a compact, mound-forming plant, reaching about 30cm in height and spread. It’s a tough little thing that’s happy in full sun and needs well-drained soil. It doesn’t ask for much, being tolerant of drought once it’s established and happy in poorer soils. It’s a great choice for coastal gardens, rockeries, or pots on the patio.
Care is straightforward. Just trim off the spent flower stalks to encourage more to follow. We find a tidy-up in early spring, removing any dead or discoloured leaves, keeps it looking its best. Plant it somewhere sunny where you can enjoy its long season of colour.
