Hebe pinguifolia ‘Sutherlandii’

Hebe pinguifolia ‘Sutherlandii’ catches the eye with its small, tightly packed leaves in a striking blue-grey hue. The foliage stays dense and tidy all year. White flowers appear in summer, drawing bees to the nursery borders where we grow it.

This dwarf shrub grows to 0.6m tall and wide. It forms a rounded, bushy habit. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. It thrives in full sun. Shelter from cold winds protects the leaves in our Thurning winters.

Trim lightly after flowering to keep shape. It suits rock gardens, front borders or containers. Drought tolerant once established. We’ve found it reliable in sunny, open positions here.
