Product information

Euonymus ‘Bravo’ is a firm favourite on the nursery for its reliable performance and striking foliage. The leaves are a glossy dark green in the centre with a bold, irregular margin of creamy yellow, providing colour and structure through every season. Small, greenish flowers can appear in summer, but they are generally considered insignificant.

This is a medium-sized shrub with a dense, bushy habit, eventually reaching between 2.5 and 4 metres in height if left unpruned. It has a moderate growth rate and is very adaptable, growing well in most well-drained soils, from sand to clay. It is happy in full sun or partial shade; the variegation tends to be brighter in sunnier spots.

Once established, ‘Bravo’ is a low-maintenance plant that tolerates wind, pollution and coastal conditions. To keep it tidy and encourage a dense shape, we recommend a light trim in late spring. It’s an excellent choice for adding a splash of brightness to a mixed border or for creating a tough, attractive low hedge.
